You receive the ? marks because you are copying special Word 'curly' speech marks or apostrophes into the site. Consequently the software does not understand what character these are supposed to be. You will need to go and edit these 'curly' speech marks to the 'normal' ones which can be typed by holding down SHIFT + 2.
