The ability to change the background colour of individual pages was not included in the software. This is to comply with accessibility guidelines regarding the usability of websites. This is also to maintain the consistency throughout the website as per good web design.

You can however change the background of the entire website via Site Settings > Theme Control. Once inside Theme Control choose the top link 'Site Background' where you can chose a background colour on the right.
