If you're having problems logging in to your website, please read the following list of possible fixes...
| - |
Please check you are using the correct User ID and Password. |
| - |
Make sure you are trying to login to your website at the recommended login page, not a favourite or bookmark. You may have updated your information but you might be trying to login using old bookmarked information. Alternatively you may have incorrectly bookmarked the wrong login page. |
| - |
Make sure that CAPS LOCK is not on - your User ID and Password are case sensitive. |
| - |
Is your internet browser set to accept Cookies or are the browser security settings set too high? We recommend the Medium security setting, although lower settings will work. If you are using Internet Explorer, this can be changed by clicking on the Tools menu > Internet Options > Privacy tab. |
| - |
Have you registered in the last few minutes...? If so, please wait a few minutes before trying again. Our registration systems may not have activated your account yet. |

Ensure that any firewall software (such as Zone Alarm), or other similar blocking/protection software is configured properly to allow you to access password-protected websites. This also includes programs like Google Toolbar, Norton Anti-Virus (in some cases) and Tiscali Accelerator to name a few. If you are unsure how to configure these programs, temporarily turn them off when accessing your website, or alternatively contact your network administrator. |
| - |
If you are using a router (or in some cases a cable modem) you may find that this has a built in firewall that in some cases can interfere with login and the editing of your website. Try temporarily disabling the firewall, or adding your website address to any 'allow' lists. Please note however this could be advanced functionality, so if you are unsure on how to disable your firewall refer to your instruction manual or contact your network administrator. |

If you have created a Schools website you need to login at www.schools.ik.org. Community Kit users need to login at www.communitykit.co.uk |
| - |
If when you login you see a series of letters or numbers appear in the login boxes, close down all your browser windows and try again. |
| - |
If you use browser or desktop shortcuts, login to your website without using these. If this then works, recreate these shortcuts. This may be because the path/structure to your website has changed 'behind-the-scenes'. |

If you are using stored passwords (or other information) to access your website, try manually typing in this information. You may have changed this information without updating the stored version. Once you have successfully logged in, you can then update the stored information with the new login details. |
If you are still experiencing problems please contact support. Please provide us with as much information as you can relating to your browser/version, any relevant programs you might have installed, and what you were doing at the time.
