SITEBUILDER: How do I activate my website / make it live?
Solution There is not a separate activation procedure for your website. As soon as the site was initially created, it became live. This is necessary otherwise you would not be able to edit your website. However, you do not need to worry. Search engines will take many weeks (possibly months) to pick up your website and unless you have been telling people the address of the site, you will have had very few people indeed.

You can if you want to disable all the buttons in your navigation menu to stop people exploring your website whilst it's in construction. This can be done in Site Settings > Button Editor. In the furthest right-hand column marked 'Visible?' you can uncheck any button which will make the button disappear on the navigation menu. You may wish to keep the Home page button visible as this way you can include a message there for when people visit your site explaining that it is under construction. Alternatively if all buttons are made invisible a simple 'Under construction' page will show for visitors. By using this method you will now be able to work on your website, editing the pages without people seeing the changes until you are ready.

Once you have finished your website you can advertise the link to other users, and then submit your website to the search engines.
