CHECKMEND: Verify a report

Each check performed using CheckMEND generates its own certificate with a unique ID number. The ID number can be used by anyone to download a copy of the CheckMEND report by entering on to the 'Verify Report' page accessible through the CheckMEND home page.

Any person with access to this unique identification number can use it to re-request the report. In this way, someone wishing to sell an item can run a search for it on CheckMEND and then provide any potential buyers with the report ID number. The buyers can then verify that the CheckMEND certificate is authentic by entering it in the CheckMEND report verification tool in order to download a fresh copy of the report for themselves.
